Washington Street Community Center has recently undergone renovations.
Thanks to the 2017 SPLOST campaign, Washington Street Community Center received $495,000.00 to renovate its 20-year-old facility. Phase 1 of this renovation project includes historical a new roof, H-vac system, wiring, waterless & touchless restrooms, new phone system, new security system, Wi-fi throughout the building and much more. The recent approval of an additional $400,000 for phase 2 will include the addition of an outside classroom and upgrades to the existing kitchen. Renovations are scheduled to be completed by August 1st.
